How a settlement works

Top of every hour

Balances of every address holding at least WATT are read from the chain at the first block after the hour.
Fees are converted

The fees collected in that hour are split. buys hours at the current price.
Credits are added

Each eligible address receives hours based on its share of eligible WATT. No transaction is needed and nothing moves on-chain.
Claim when you want

Move up to hours onto a key. Revoke a key and the rest comes back.

Reading the ledger asks your wallet to sign a short message. The signature proves you control the address and expires within the hour. It does not send a transaction.
